I feel incredibly grateful to have had Marlie as my wedding day hair stylist and cannot recommend her highly enough. From the very first trial in her home, Marlie made me feel completely at ease. She is a wonderful communicator, genuinely loves what she does and has such a caring, thoughtful approach to her brides. She is the ultimate professional.
Following the trial, as the look evolved slightly, Marlie worked closely with me and somehow understood the style I was hoping for even better than I did myself. She created a look that was different from how I usually wear my hair, yet still felt natural, soft, and entirely me. I felt so comfortable and confident and best of all, my hair looked absolutely beautiful right through to the end of the night. I received so many lovely compliments throughout the day.
On the wedding day, Marlie also styled Gareth’s mum Margaret’s hair who is 94 years young and Margaret absolutely loved it. She made so many happy comments about how lovely she felt which meant the world to all of us.
Marlie has a rare ability to make you feel like the most important person in the room. Her care didn’t stop at the wedding day either; receiving her thoughtful messages afterwards was such a lovely touch. I was truly so happy to have Marlie as my hair stylist on our wedding day, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any bride looking for someone talented, kind, and completely dedicated to making you feel your very best.

Absolutely Incredible!

Marlies was simply AMAZING. She took such incredible care of us especially considering the chaos of the night/morning. We had lost power, it was extremely hot, and we were running off one power pack and a generator. But even with all of that going on, Marlies stayed calm, kind and completely in control. She was honestly our lifesaver.

She made myself and the entire bridal party feel so relaxed and comfortable. Her energy is warm, friendly and grounding, exactly what you need when nerves and excitement are high. She kept the morning fun, stress-free and full of laughs, even with the heat and power drama happening around us.

And her work? Absolutely flawless. She understood exactly what I wanted and made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself. My makeup and hair held up the whole day and night through heat, rain, tears, hugs, dancing and everything in between. My bridesmaid and flower girl looked stunning too.

Marlies, thank you for being such a beautiful human and for making our morning so special. Couldn’t recommend you more. 💕✨
